MGMU Achieves Success at International Film Festival

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 4: The School of Film Arts of MGM University has achieved remarkable success at the UP International Film Conclave, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department and the Film Society of India, by winning five prestigious awards.

In the professional category, the film “Pachola”, produced by the School of Film Arts and directed by Dr. Shiv Kadam, based on the novel by Ra. Ran. Borade, won the Best Film Award. Prof. Jai Kadam received the Best Cinematography Award, while Ghanshyam Pawar and Shubham Sokatkar were honored with the Best Background Score Award.

In the short film category, “Jaaniv”, directed by Swapnil Sarode, received the Best Short Film Award, while “Katusmruti”, directed by Mayur Desale, earned a Special Mention Award.

Additionally, at the research conference held during the conclave, Dr. Shiv Kadam received the Best Research Paper Award, and Prof. Jai Kadam secured the Third Prize for Outstanding Research Paper.

For this national-level achievement, all award winners were congratulated by Chancellor Shri Ankushrao Kadam; Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vilas Sapkal; Registrar Dr. Ashish Gadekar; Dean Prof. Shubha Mahajan; and other dignitaries, who also extended their best wishes for their future endeavors.

एमजीएमचे आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सवात यश

छत्रपती संभाजीनगर, दि.४ : उत्तर प्रदेश पर्यटन मंत्रालय आणि फिल्म सोसायटी ऑफ इंडिया आयोजित यूपी इंटरनॅशनल फिल्म कॉन्क्लेव्हमध्ये महात्मा गांधी मिशन विद्यापीठाच्या स्कुल ऑफ फिल्म आर्ट्सने पाच पुरस्कारावर आपले नांव कोरले आहे.

प्रोफेशनल कॅटेगरी मध्ये स्कुल ऑफ फिल्म आर्टस् निर्मित आणि डॉ.शिव कदम दिग्दर्शित ‘पाचोळा’ या रा.रं.बोराडे यांच्या कादंबरीवर आधारित चित्रपटाला सर्वोत्कृष्ट चित्रपट, प्रा.जाई कदम यांना सर्वोत्कृष्ट छायाचित्रण, घनश्याम पवार, शुभम सोकतकर यांना सर्वोत्कृष्ट पार्श्वसंगीत हे पुरस्कार प्राप्त झाले आहेत. लघु चित्रपट विभागात स्वप्नील सरोदे दिग्दर्शित 'जाणीव' ला सर्वोत्कृष्ट लघुपटाचा पुरस्कार प्राप्त झाला असून मयूर देसले दिग्दर्शित 'कटुस्मृती' या लघुपटाला विशेष उल्लेखनीय पुरस्कार मिळाला आहे. तसेच येथे आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या संशोधन परिषदेत डॉ.शिव कदम यांना सर्वोत्कृष्ट प्रबंध तर प्रा.जाई कदम यांना उत्कृष्ट प्रबंधाचा तृतीय पुरस्कार मिळाला आहे.

Workshop on Physics Successfully Conducted

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 3: A one-day workshop on “Software Skills for Experimental Physics” was successfully organized at Einstein Hall by the Department of Physics, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, MGM University. The workshop featured expert guidance from Dr. Deepak Gadani, Professor from Gujarat University, as the resource person.

On this occasion, Dean Dr. Prapti Deshmukh; Emeritus Professor Dr. K. M. Jadhav; Head of Department Dr. Kranti Zhakade; Dr. L. P. Singh; Dr. Chaitali More; along with faculty members, students, and distinguished guests were present.

The workshop included practical demonstrations based on undergraduate and postgraduate experiments such as simple pendulum, projectile motion, damped harmonic motion, and Newton’s rings. Dr. Deepak Gadani demonstrated how to record videos using Tracker software and analyze them to obtain accurate measurements.

The program was compered by Dr. Harshada Patil. Sakshi Devde, Vandana Thakur, Krishna Khillare, Devyani Jain, and Chanchal Shinde contributed to the successful organization of the event.

एमजीएममध्ये भौतिकशास्त्र विषयावरील कार्यशाळा यशस्वीपणे संपन्न

छत्रपती संभाजीनगर, दि.३ : महात्मा गांधी मिशन विद्यापीठाच्या स्कूल ऑफ बेसिक अँड अप्लाइड सायन्सेसच्या भौतिकशास्त्र विभागाच्यावतीने ‘सॉफ्टवेअर स्किल्स फॉर एक्सपेरिमेंटल फिजिक्स’या विषयावर आईनस्टाईन सभागृहात एक दिवसीय कार्यशाळेचे यशस्वी आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. या कार्यशाळेत साधन व्यक्ती म्हणून गुजरात विद्यापीठाचे प्राध्यापक डॉ.दीपक गडाणी यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले.

यावेळी अधिष्ठाता डॉ. प्राप्ती देशमुख, एमेरिटस प्राध्यापक डॉ.के.एम.जाधव, विभागप्रमुख डॉ. क्रांती झाकडे, डॉ.एल.पी.सिंग, डॉ.चैताली मोरे, प्राध्यापक, विद्यार्थी व सर्व संबंधित मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.

या कार्यशाळेत सिंपल पेंडुलम, प्रोजेक्टाइल मोशन, डॅम्प्ड हार्मोनिक मोशन, न्यूटनचे रिंग्स यांसारख्या पदवी आणि पदव्युत्तर पदवीच्या प्रयोगांवर आधारित प्रात्यक्षिके सादर करण्यात आली. डॉ.दीपक गडाणी यांनी ट्रॅकर सॉफ्टवेअरच्या साहाय्याने व्हिडिओ कसे रेकॉर्ड करायचे आणि त्याचे विश्लेषण करून अचूक मोजमाप कसे करायचे याचे प्रात्यक्षिक विद्यार्थ्यांना करून दाखविले.

Blood Donation Camp Held at MGMU

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 2: On the occasion of the 24th death anniversary of former Secretary of Mahatma Gandhi Mission, Late Dr. Gangadhar Pathrikar, a blood donation camp was organized at the Dr. G. Y. Pathrikar College of Computer Science and Information Technology, MGM University. Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students actively participated in the camp and donated blood.

The camp was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Prapti Deshmukh. On this occasion, Dean Dr. John Chelladurai; NSS Programme Officer Dr. Ravindra Komte; Dr. Sanjay Azade; Dr. Satish Sankaye; Prof. Kiran Marwade; along with faculty members, students, and other dignitaries were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Prapti Deshmukh stated that blood donation is the noblest form of donation and everyone should participate in it. She emphasized that as individuals, we should help the needy in society from a humanitarian perspective without any discrimination.

Faculty members and students actively donated blood during the camp. The event was successfully organized with the dedicated efforts of the volunteers of the National Service Scheme (NSS).

एमजीएम विद्यापीठात रक्तदान शिबिर संपन्न

छत्रपती संभाजीनगर, दि.२ : महात्मा गांधी मिशनचे माजी सचिव कै.डॉ.गंगाधर पाथ्रीकर यांच्या चोविसाव्या स्मृतीदिनानिमित्त महात्मा गांधी मिशन विद्यापीठाच्या डॉ.जी.वाय.पाथ्रीकर संगणकशास्त्र व माहिती तंत्रज्ञान महाविद्यालयात रक्तदान शिबिराचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. यामध्ये महाविद्यालयातील शिक्षक, शिक्षकेत्तर कर्मचारी व विद्यार्थ्यांनी आपला सहभाग नोंदवत रक्तदान केले.

या रक्तदान शिबिराचे उद्घाटन प्राचार्या डॉ.प्राप्ती देशमुख यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले. यावेळी अधिष्ठाता डॉ.जॉन चेल्लादुराई, राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजनेचे कार्यक्रम अधिकारी डॉ.रवींद्र कोमटे, डॉ.संजय आझादे, डॉ.सतीश संकाये, प्रा.किरण मारवाडे, प्राध्यापक, विद्यार्थी व सर्व संबंधित उपस्थित होते.

यावेळी बोलताना प्राचार्या डॉ.प्राप्ती देशमुख म्हणाल्या की, रक्तदान हे सर्वश्रेष्ठ दान असून सर्वांनी रक्तदान करणे आवश्यक आहे. आपण एक व्यक्ति म्हणून आयुष्य जगत असताना कुठलाही भेदभाव  न करता मानवतेच्या दृष्टीने समाजातील गरजवंतांना आपल्याकडून शक्य होईल ती मदत केली पाहिजे.

Students Win Cash Prizes Worth ₹1.5 Lakh

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 1: The valedictory ceremony of ‘Zentrix 2026’, a national-level technical competition organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, MGM University, was held at Aryabhatta Hall.

The ceremony was graced by Smart City Deputy CEO Ravindra Jogdand; Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vilas Sapkal; Director Dr. Sharvari Tamane; Prof. Vijaya Ahire; IEEE Student Branch Chair Neha Surule; along with faculty members, students, and distinguished guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravindra Jogdand stated that the successful organization of Zentrix reflects the tremendous efforts of faculty, students, and volunteers. The ‘Hack the Gap 2.0’ hackathon, organized in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation and Smart City, showcased students’ strong capabilities in innovation and problem-solving. Participants presented effective solutions to real-world urban challenges such as traffic management, waste control, and water management.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vilas Sapkal noted that the competition received an enthusiastic response from over 450 students across Maharashtra, including participants from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Amravati, Pune, Mumbai, Kolhapur, and even IIT Jodhpur. He highlighted that participation from reputed government and private engineering colleges enriched the quality of the competition.

Director Dr. Sharvari Tamane mentioned that the Model United Nations (MUN) and the group discussion on “AI Era Competencies” were key highlights of Zentrix. In the MUN session on “Regulating Autonomous Weapons and Military AI in Modern Warfare,” representatives from 23 countries participated, fostering research, diplomacy, critical thinking, and leadership skills among students.

Over the past four years, the IEEE Student Branch has consistently organized national and state-level technical activities, providing students with opportunities for project presentation, practical exposure, and skill development. IEEE serves as an international platform that contributes significantly to the holistic development of engineering students.

A total of nine technical competitions and activities were organized under Zentrix 2026, including Hack the Gap 2.0, Tech League, MUN, Sharkpreneur, Agentic AI, Frag Fest, Robo Dash, Sustainability Poster Competition, and AI Summit.

छत्रपती संभाजीनगर, दि.१ : महात्मा गांधी मिशन विद्यापीठाच्या इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ इन्फर्मेशन अँड कम्युनिकेशन टेक्नॉलॉजीच्या आयईईई स्टुडंट ब्रँचच्या वतीने ‘झेंट्रिक्स-२०२६’ या राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील तांत्रिक स्पर्धेचा समारोप समारंभ आर्यभट्ट सभागृहात संपन्न झाला.

या समारोप समारंभास स्मार्ट सिटीचे उपमुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी रविंद्र जोगदंड, कुलगुरू प्रा.डॉ.विलास सपकाळ, संचालिका डॉ. शर्वरी तामणे, प्रा. विजया अहिरे, आयईईई स्टुडंट ब्रँचच्या चेअर नेहा सुरूळे, प्राध्यापक, विद्यार्थी व सर्व संबंधित मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.

यावेळी बोलताना स्मार्ट सिटीचे उपमुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी रविंद्र जोगदंड म्हणाले, झेंट्रिक्स स्पर्धा यशस्वी करण्यासाठी प्राध्यापक, विद्यार्थी आणि स्वयंसेवकांनी खूप जास्त मेहनत घेतल्याचे निदर्शनास येते. ‘हॅक द गॅप २.०’ हॅकथॉन ही स्पर्धा महानगरपालिका आणि स्मार्ट सिटीच्या सहकार्याने आयोजित करण्यात आली असून या माध्यमातून विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये नवोन्मेष आणि समस्यांचे समाधान करण्याची क्षमता प्रकर्षाने दिसून आली. वाहतूक व्यवस्थापन, कचरा नियंत्रण, पाणी व्यवस्थापन यांसारख्या स्मार्ट सिटीशी संबंधित समस्यांवर विद्यार्थ्यांनी प्रभावी उपाय मांडले आहेत.

झेंट्रिक्स स्पर्धेत महाराष्ट्रातील ४५० हून अधिक विद्यार्थ्यांचा उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद मिळाला आहे, ही निश्चितपणे आनंदाची बातमी आहे. यामध्ये छत्रपती संभाजीनगर, अमरावती, पुणे, मुंबई, कोल्हापूर तसेच आयआयटी जोधपूर येथील विद्यार्थ्यांचा सहभाग होता. विविध नामांकित शासकीय व खासगी अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयांतील विद्यार्थ्यांनी सहभाग घेतल्यामुळे ही स्पर्धा अधिक समृद्ध आणि दर्जेदार झाली असल्याचे कुलगुरू प्रा. डॉ. विलास सपकाळ यांनी यावेळी सांगितले.

यावेळी बोलताना संचालिका डॉ. शर्वरी तामणे म्हणाल्या, झेंट्रिक्समधील मॉडेल युनायटेड नेशन्स आणि एआय इरा कॉम्पिटन्सीज” या विषयावरील समूह चर्चा हे स्पर्धेचे विशेष आकर्षण ठरले. ‘रेग्युलेटिंग ऑटोनॉमस वेपन्स अँड मिलिटरी एआय इन मॉडर्न वॉरफेअर’ या विषयावर आधारित एमयुएनमध्ये २३ देशांच्या प्रतिनिधींनी सहभाग घेत जागतिक प्रश्नांवर सखोल चर्चा केली. यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये संशोधन, मुत्सद्देगिरी, चिकित्सक विचार आणि नेतृत्वगुणांचा विकास झाला.

गेल्या चार वर्षांपासून आयईईई स्टुडंट ब्रँचने राष्ट्रीय व राज्यस्तरीय तांत्रिक उपक्रमांचे यशस्वी आयोजन करत विद्यार्थ्यांना आपले प्रकल्प सादरीकरण, प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव आणि कौशल्यविकासाची संधी उपलब्ध करून दिली आहे. अभियांत्रिकी विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी आयईईई हे एक आंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यासपीठ असून या माध्यमातून विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सर्वांगीण विकासाला चालना मिळत आहे.

‘Lex Fiesta’ National Law Fest Concludes Enthusiastically

Students Win Cash Prizes Worth ₹ 57,000

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 31 : The three-day ‘Lex Fiesta National Law Fest’, organized by the School of Legal Studies and Research, MGM University, concluded in a vibrant atmosphere at the Einstein Hall. The fest, aimed at providing practical exposure to law students, was enriched with a variety of competitions, discussions, and activities.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by former judges of the Mumbai High Court, Justice P. B. Gaikwad and Justice V. K. Jadhav; Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vilas Sapkal; Adv. S. K. Kadam; Registrar Dr. Ashish Gadekar; Dean Dr. Rekha Shelke; Director Dr. C. M. Rao; along with faculty members, students, and distinguished guests in large numbers.

During the three-day fest, several competitions were आयोजित, including Lok Sabha Session, Moot Court Competition, Youth Parliament, Crime Scene Investigation, Bail Drafting, Rapid Fire Law Quiz, and Legal Treasure Hunt. These activities provided students with hands-on experience and helped them develop practical legal skills.

While guiding the students, former Justice V. K. Jadhav emphasized that every law student must develop independent thinking. He appreciated the participants for their talent and outstanding performance in various competitions and encouraged them to use their knowledge for the benefit of economically weaker sections. He also extended his best wishes for their bright future in the field of justice.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vilas Sapkal stated that MGM University places special emphasis on experiential learning. Students learn from each other and enhance their abilities. He highlighted the importance of presenting arguments effectively in the legal field and also stressed maintaining a balance between mediation, sports, and reading.

The successful organization of ‘Lex Fiesta’ was made possible through the active participation of students and faculty. Abdul Rehman Patel served as Student President, while Archit Jadhav served as Vice-President. Adv. Mirza Mazhar Beg and Adv. Anushka Deshpande coordinated the Moot Court Competition. Prof. Reena Mandhani coordinated Crime Scene Investigation and Bail Drafting. Dr. Syed Abdul Rahim coordinated the Legal Treasure Hunt, while student coordinator Kaif Syed and faculty coordinator Dr. Syed Rahim Uddin managed the MUN activity. एमजीएममध्ये ‘लेक्स फिएस्टा’ नॅशनल लॉ फेस्ट उत्साहात संपन्न

विद्यार्थ्यांनी जिंकले ५७ हजार रूपयांची पारितोषिके

छत्रपती संभाजीनगर, दि.३१ : महात्मा गांधी मिशन विद्यापीठाच्या स्कूल ऑफ लिगल स्टडीज अँड रिसर्चच्या वतीने आयोजित करण्यात आलेला तीन दिवसीय ‘लेक्स फिएस्टा नॅशनल लॉ फेस्ट’चा समारोप समारंभ उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरणात आईनस्टाईन सभागृहात संपन्न झाला. विधी क्षेत्रातील विद्यार्थ्यांना व्यावहारिक अनुभव देणारा हा फेस्ट विविध स्पर्धा, चर्चासत्रे आणि उपक्रमांनी समृद्ध ठरला.

समारोप समारंभास मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाचे माजी न्यायमूर्ती पी. बी. गायकवाड, मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयाचे माजी न्यायमूर्ती व्ही.के.जाधव, कुलगुरू प्रा. डॉ. विलास सपकाळ, अँड. एस. के. कदम, कुलसचिव डॉ. आशिष गाडेकर, अधिष्ठाता डॉ. रेखा शेळके, संचालक डॉ. सी. एम. राव यांच्यासह प्राध्यापक, विद्यार्थी व मान्यवर मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते.

या तीन दिवसांमध्ये लोकसभा सत्र, मूट कोर्ट स्पर्धा, युथ पार्लमेंट, क्राईम सीन इन्व्हेस्टिगेशन, बेल ड्राफ्टिंग, रॅपिड फायर लॉ क्विझ, लीगल ट्रेझर हंट अशा विविध स्पर्धांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. या सर्व स्पर्धांमुळे विद्यार्थ्यांना न्यायप्रक्रियेचे प्रत्यक्ष ज्ञान आणि कौशल्य विकसित करण्याची संधी मिळाली.

यावेळी माजी न्यायमूर्ती व्ही. के. जाधव यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन करताना सांगितले की, प्रत्येक विधी विद्यार्थ्याने स्वतःची स्वतंत्र मते विकसित करणे आवश्यक आहे. सर्व सहभागी अत्यंत प्रतिभासंपन्न असून त्यांनी विविध स्पर्धांमध्ये उत्कृष्ट कामगिरी केली आहे. समाजातील आर्थिकदृष्ट्या दुर्बल घटकांसाठी आपले ज्ञान वापरावे, अशी अपेक्षा व्यक्त करत त्यांनी सर्व स्पर्धकांना न्यायदानाच्या क्षेत्रातील उज्ज्वल भविष्यासाठी शुभेच्छा दिल्या.

कुलगुरू प्रा.डॉ.विलास सपकाळ यांनी सांगितले की, एमजीएम विद्यापीठात अनुभवाधारित शिक्षणाला विशेष प्राधान्य दिले जाते. विद्यार्थी एकमेकांकडून शिकत स्वतःच्या क्षमतांचा विकास करतात. न्यायदान क्षेत्रात आपले विचार आणि मुद्दे प्रभावीपणे मांडणे महत्त्वाचे आहे. तसेच मेडिएशन, क्रीडा आणि वाचन यांचा समतोल साधणे आवश्यक असल्याचे त्यांनी नमूद केले.

‘लेक्स फिएस्टा’च्या यशस्वी आयोजनामध्ये विद्यार्थी व प्राध्यापकांचा सक्रिय सहभाग राहिला. विद्यार्थी अध्यक्ष म्हणून अब्दुल रहमान पटेल यांनी तर उपाध्यक्ष म्हणून अर्चित जाधव यांनी जबाबदारी पार पाडली. मूट कोर्ट स्पर्धेसाठी अॅड.मिर्झा मझहर बेग व अॅड.अनुष्का देशपांडे यांनी समन्वयक म्हणून काम पाहिले. क्राईम सीन इन्व्हेस्टिगेशन आणि बेल ड्राफ्टिंगसाठी प्रा.रीना मानधनी यांनी समन्वयकाची भूमिका बजावली. लीगल ट्रेझर हंटसाठी डॉ. सय्यद अब्दुल रहीम तर एमयूएन उपक्रमासाठी विद्यार्थी समन्वयक कैफ सय्यद व प्राध्यापक समन्वयक डॉ.सय्यद रहीम उद्दीन होते. कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन साद जलील आणि इफ्रा पठाण यांनी केले तर आभार प्रदर्शन अर्चित जाधव यांनी केले.

“Lex Fiesta 2.0” Begins with Enthusiasm at MGM

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, March 30 : The three-day academic and cultural festival “Lex Fiesta 2.0”, organized by the School of Legal Studies and Research, MGM University, commenced with great enthusiasm in the presence of distinguished guests. The festival is being held from Sunday, March 29 to Tuesday, March 31, 2026, providing students with opportunities to enhance their legal knowledge and advocacy skills.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Adv. Amarsingh Girase, Adv. Avinash Borulkar, Adv. Sambhaji Tope, Adv. Sachin Salgare, Adv. Yogita Kshirsagar Thorat, Adv. Himmatsing Deshmukh, Director Dr. C. M. Rao, Dr. Zartab Ansari, along with faculty members, students, and other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Amarsingh Girase emphasized the importance of practical exposure in legal education. He stated that the field of law offers immense opportunities, and students must remain committed to continuous learning.

Following the inauguration, the preliminary rounds of the moot court competition were conducted, with 10 teams participating and showcasing their advocacy and research skills. Additionally, a mock Lok Sabha committee session was organized, providing students with hands-on experience of parliamentary procedures.

The programme began with an introductory address by Dr. C. M. Rao. IQAC Coordinator Adv. Reena Mandhani elaborated on the objectives and structure of Lex Fiesta 2.0. The event was anchored by student Sameeksha Kabra, while student coordinator Patel Abdul Rahman encouraged active participation. छत्रपती संभाजीनगर, दि.३० : महात्मा गांधी मिशन विद्यापीठाच्या स्कूल ऑफ लीगल स्टडीज अँड रिसर्च तर्फे आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या लेक्स फिएस्टा २.० या शैक्षणिक आणि सांस्कृतिक महोत्सवाची सुरुवात आज मान्यवरांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत करण्यात आली. हा तीन दिवसीय महोत्सव रविवार, दिनांक २९ मार्च ते मंगळवार, दिनांक ३१ मार्च २०२६ दरम्यान आयोजित करण्यात आला असून यामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना कायदेशीर ज्ञान आणि वकिली कौशल्ये शिकण्याची संधी उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आली आहे.

उद्घाटन समारंभास  ॲड.अमरसिंग गिरासे, ॲड.अविनाश बोरुळकर ॲड.संभाजी टोपे, ॲड.सचिन सलगरे, ॲड.योगिता क्षीरसागर थोरात, ॲड.हिंमतसिंग देशमुख, संचालक डॉ.सी.एम.राव, डॉ.झरताब अंसारी, प्राध्यापक, विद्यार्थी व सर्व संबंधित मान्यवर उपस्थित होते.

यावेळी बोलताना  ॲड.अमरसिंग गिरासे म्हणाले, विद्यार्थ्यांनी कायदे शिक्षणातील व्यावहारिक अनुभवाचे महत्त्व समजून घेणे गरजेचे आहे. कायद्याच्या क्षेत्रात विद्यार्थ्यांना असंख्य संधी उपलब्ध असून  त्यांनी कायम ज्ञानार्जनाच्या प्रक्रियेत असायला हवे.

उद्घाटनानंतर मूट कोर्ट स्पर्धेची प्राथमिक फेरी आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. यामध्ये  १० संघांनी सहभाग घेत आपले वकिली व संशोधन कौशल्ये सादर केली. याशिवाय, लोकसभा समितीचे अनुकरण देखील आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. या माध्यमातून विद्यार्थ्यांना संसदीय प्रक्रियेचा प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव घेता आला.

Vision Document on “Reimagining the Future of Marathwada” Presented

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, March 28: A two-day National Round Table Conference on the theme “Reimagining the Future of Marathwada” was successfully concluded at Mahatma Gandhi Mission University. The conference was jointly organized by the Institute of Social Sciences and the College of Communication, Culture and Media, in collaboration with the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies. It was held at the Vinoba Bhave Auditorium in the presence of eminent personalities from various fields.

The valedictory session was attended by Vijayanna Borade, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vilas Sapkal, MAGIC’s Ashish Garde, Dr. Ishwar Kale, former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sudhir Gavhane, Dr. Suhas Bhasme from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, economist Prof. H. M. Desarda, Dean Dr. John Chelladurai, Director Dr. Ramesh Jare, Director Dr. K. P. Singh, Dr. H. N. Sonkambale, along with professors, students, and distinguished participants.

Marathwada has historically lagged behind in the development process due to its prolonged period under the Nizam’s rule and persistent water scarcity. In this context, the conference focused not only on identifying challenges but also on proposing concrete and practical solutions. Experts engaged in detailed discussions across sessions on key areas such as agriculture, water management, education, industry, social development, and policy planning.

During the valedictory session, detailed deliberations were held on the concept of a “Vision Document for Marathwada” based on the recommendations emerging from the conference. This document aims to serve as a comprehensive roadmap for the region’s holistic and sustainable development and will soon be submitted to the government. It was also stated that MGM University will take the lead in implementing various initiatives based on this vision in the coming years.

Dignitaries present expressed that the conference has opened new perspectives, provided clear direction, and created fresh opportunities for collaboration towards the development of Marathwada.

परिषदेच्या समारोप सत्रात सुचविण्यात आलेल्या उपाययोजनांच्या आधारे ‘मराठवाड्याचे व्हिजन डॉक्युमेंट’ या संकल्पनेवर सविस्तर चर्चा करण्यात आली. या व्हिजन डॉक्युमेंटच्या माध्यमातून प्रदेशाच्या सर्वांगीण आणि शाश्वत विकासासाठी मार्गदर्शक आराखडा तयार करण्यात येणार असून, तो लवकरच शासनाकडे सादर केला जाणार आहे. तसेच, या व्हिजन डॉक्युमेंटच्या अंमलबजावणीसाठी एमजीएम विद्यापीठ पुढाकार घेऊन आगामी काळात विविध उपक्रम राबविणार असल्याचेही यावेळी सांगण्यात आले.

Two-Day Book Exhibition Successfully Concludes at MGM

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, March 28: A two-day book exhibition organized by the Library Department of Dr. G. Y. Pathrikar College of Computer Science and Information Technology, MGM University, concluded successfully with great enthusiasm.

The exhibition featured a wide range of quality books on subjects such as Machine Learning in Data Science Using Python, Elements of Distributed Computing, Tableau: Creating Interactive Data Visualizations Learning Path, Blogging for Dummies, Design Your Thinking, Advanced Web Metrics with Google Analytics, and Customer Relationship Management.

Principal Dr. Prapti Deshmukh visited the exhibition and guided students about emerging research trends in the field of computer science. She emphasized the importance of hard work, perseverance, and quality education for achieving success.
